The Parker Building

We had to do a color assignment last semester, and I chose red. So as I walked around the neighborhood looking for red, I came upon this old brick building. I was photographing the outside when a man came around the corner of the building. After he left I followed the path he came from and I found this door propped open, so I went in and these are the photos I took of the inside. The top floor of the building was filled by several empty rooms. I found out later that it is an older building attached to the small hospital in JP. I went back to the building again, this time to ask for permission to take more photographs, but apparently I am a suspicious looking student photographer so I was denied and basically escorted out. In all the situation was pretty awkward but I am happy with the photographs I was able to take, albeit without permission.
